Last Saturday was the Starting Point Christmas Party! Thanks to everyone who shared their pictures. Feel free to keep e-mailing if you have pictures you would like posted on the blog!
First of all, the decor was amazing and none of the pictures will be able to show how beautiful the room was. The time and effort put into this event was deeply appreciated by all.

What is a party without food? There was plenty for everyone and it all tasted amazing!

Eric's slide show was wonderful! It had funny times as well as sentimental moments and it was interesting to hear people guessing the identities of class members in pictures from years past.
We had a great time sharing about things we are thankful for as well as things we struggle with. I think everyone could sense what an amazing group of people make up Starting Point if they didn't already know!

The most picture worthy event was the gift exchange! There many different types of suspicious packages. We even had a stocking masquerading as a chili pepper.
A white elephant graced our gift exchange. Actually, he was a little greenish in color but it isn't called a green elephant gift exchange so for the purposes of simplicity and consistency he will be considered a white elephant gift.
Michelle fell victim to her curiosity of the chili pepper stocking package and ended up with two lumps of coal and a blinking red nose.

There were a few instance of theft during the gift exchange! Anyone up for a game of Kings Corner?

Matt is the proud owner of a holiday "Manny Pack" with holiday tissues. He also got a rare VHS tape and a few other interesting items.

Has it been mentioned that Michelle loved the blinking nose she got?

When Ashley picked a gift we had no idea how much fun awaited us.

At first, just a few people were curious about the book.

Look at those smiles...are they blushing?

Before we knew it, many more people were drawn to the book!

I never knew Starting Point had so many avid readers!

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. I know everyone had a great time! Thanks again to those who had a part putting the party together as well as everyone who attended. (Sorry Lindsay...I don't have any other group shots yet...)
