We were incredibly blessed at the Ronald McDonald House.
Last night a group of us took pumpkins and all manner of orange cupcakes and cookies to the amazing residential center for seriously ill children who are undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals. We carved pumpkins with children and visited with their family members. It definitely came in handy to have so many teachers with us! Under their leadership, we whipped out carving knives and paints, scooped pumpkin innards, and put smiles on faces with lovingly carved jack-o-lanterns. It was a night to remember.
Special thanks to Alia and April for the excellent preparations.
(We were joined by Todd and Kim- neighbors of Michael and Margaret, fellow church members, and ace pumpkin carvers)
