Astros Game

The weather was great for an Astros game!

Katie and I were a little concerned when the game started and it was still just the two of us.

Both teams started out great.

Shout out to Chris Smith! Thanks for the great seats!

The random Taco Bell condiment packet race was strangely interrupted by what appeared to colored ghosts.

We did eventually fill all of our seats.

Love Chik-Fil-A and their wittiness!

The Astros hit home run 999 during the game.

Unfortunately, things did start to go Tampa's way...

...and the Astros weren't able to rally.

It was still a great evening to watch a baseball game with friends!

Pokorny Baby Shower!!!

We recently had the joy of celebrating with another soon to be mom.

The new mom was all smiles as she opened gifts.

Everyone had a great time relaxing after a long week.

SB was very interested in all the presents.

Lots of sugar seems to make babies very active.

Getting together with friends is wonderful...and the taco salad was great too!

Salik Baby Shower!!!

The Starting Point ladies got together to celebrate baby Salik.

Amy made these adorable cupcakes to go with the party theme.

There were plenty of great gifts...

...as well as great conversations.

We can't wait to meet this baby boy!

Tutti Frutti

We met a few weeks ago to enjoy some frozen yogurt.

We had quite a turn out and took over the small shop.

It was great time for everyone to talk and enjoy a sweet treat.

Unfortunately my camera died early in the evening.

Can't wait to do it again sometime!

Park Day!!!

A few Starting Point families enjoyed a fun day at the park on Saturday.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch as well as some playtime.

Ben knows the importance of staying hydrated when playing outside.

Mike attempted to eat David's cookie but ended up letting him keep it since David likes cookies with dirt more than Mike does.

We enjoyed our well claimed place in the shade as it got warmer.

Everyone had a great time and the weather was beautiful!

Pizza Lunch!

Last Sunday many people gathered after church for a pizza lunch.

The kids had time to play...

...and make friends.

There was pizza as well as plenty of desserts.

It is always a trick to eat and socialize at the same time.

Class gatherings create quite a mess.

There are always plenty of people in the kitchen.

With so many people we end up in practically every part of the house.

So many new babies to love!

By the end everyone was happy and full.

Is it weird that I know whose house this was held at based on the fact they have a tiger?

April looks very serious about whatever she is talking about.
